do you have a hidden racial bias? + 3
My results came back strong preference for African American... here's exactly how is broke down. The interpretation is described as 'automatic preference for European American' if you responded faster when European American faces and Good words were classified with the same key than when African American faces and Good words were classified with the same key. Depending on the magnitude of your result, your automatic preference may be described as 'slight', 'moderate', 'strong', or 'little to no preference'.
leave me your thoughts...sorry for the blurry colbert black friend picture, but i found it amusing and appropriate for this post :)
with the rest of the US and student population, i'm angry. i can't possibly
this morning i was up and out the door for work at 5:30. this is very rare for me, but i was happy i would avoid traffic. to my dismay, there was a back up on 495 S... what the hell. however, there was a terrible, terrible wreck, and my prayers go out to the driver of the car. check out

"standing up to imus" colbert i. king's perspective
this is an AMAZING article.... very good read. check it out, i read it twice :)he writes of how the comments made by imus weren't simply jokes but terrible and damaging insults hurled at african american women. i couldn't agree more. these stereotypes perpetuated in media and music are labels that we deal with regularly. i am a spelman graduate, and although i too have been pointlessly called a 'h' or 'b,' it really hurt me while watching oprah that these educated and talented spelman sisters had been subjected to the same sorts of ruthless namecalling. let's not stand by and watch another generation of women have to be subjected to this. check the article: ttp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/04/13/AR2007041301872.html
keep posted folks!
